Eolas recruitment came to us with a struggling outdated website full of black hat SEO techniques and thousands of dynamically generated URLs that needed managing. Situations like this present a real challenge as any changes to the site structure could dramatically affect ranking, which could prove disastrous. However, something had to be done, a system built on an outdated framework, with a front end failing to meet modern design standards and Google cracking down on black hat SEO techniques… this was a ticking time bomb!
This was a large project and we worked with 2 of our partner agencies to ensure each stage got the attention it required. With one working on updating Eolas’ branding and another developing the front end user interface we focused on the development of the back end, new site structure, search engine and precarious SEO situation…
And we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Not only were we able to properly redirect and migrate the old site over to the new without affecting the ranking but thanks to the new simpler user interface and intelligent search, job applications rose straight away. We still work very closely with Eolas and have an ongoing marketing strategy in place which is seeing up to 60% year on year increases in both traffic and job applications. A win in every department!
